Ingredients
4 boneless, skinless chicken breasts (1.5 lbs / 680 g)
1/3 cup honey (113 g)
4 garlic cloves, minced
2 tablespoons soy sauce (low-sodium)
1 tablespoon olive oil
1/2 teaspoon ground black pepper
Instructions
Preheat oven to 400°F (200°C)
Toss chicken breasts with olive oil and black pepper
In a bowl, whisk honey, garlic, soy sauce, and remaining olive oil
Place chicken in a baking dish and pour half the glaze over it
Bake for 20-25 minutes, basting with remaining glaze during the last 10 minutes
Let rest 5 minutes before serving
Notes
For gluten-free: Use tamari instead of soy sauce
Substitute cornstarch + water as thickener if preferred
Serve with steamed rice, roasted vegetables, or fresh lime wedges
