Ingredients
8 chicken thighs
1 cup brown sugar
2 tablespoons apple cider vinegar
1 tablespoon vegetable oil
1 tablespoon McCormick Grill Mates Brown Sugar Bourbon Seasoning
2 large peaches, sliced
1 onion, sliced
1/4 teaspoon ground cinnamon
1/4 teaspoon ground nutmeg
Salt and pepper to taste
Instructions
Preheat oven to 400°F (200°C). Heat oil in a cast iron skillet over medium-high heat.
Season chicken thighs with salt, pepper, and half the seasoning.
Sear chicken thighs in the skillet until golden brown on each side (4-5 minutes).
In a small bowl, mix brown sugar, vinegar, and remaining seasoning.
Pour the glaze into the skillet and add the peaches and onions.
Transfer skillet to the oven and bake for 25-30 minutes, ensuring the chicken is cooked through.
Sprinkle with cinnamon and nutmeg before serving.
Notes
For a non-alcoholic substitute, use apple cider vinegar for depth and flavor.
Ensure peaches are ripe for the best caramelization.
Can be served with rice, quinoa, or crusty bread to soak up the sauce.
Leftovers can be stored in the fridge for up to 4 days.
